APP visited the eurocash food distribution center in Poland with its monitoring partner. Successful cases like this reinforce the importance of temperature monitoring in the storage and transportation of perishable products. More than 50% of the food products need to be kept at a controlled temperature, and there may be temperature breaks from the production phase to the final customer. These breaks result in deterioration of the products, with financial losses and / or health problems as a consequence for the final consumer. However, there are several solutions that help prevent temperature breaks.
